Dormouse in the cellar

A bit of a scare when we found a dormouse in the cellar. They are known for keeping you awake at night and destroying your isolation, and therefore they are considered a pest, but they are protected by law.
It’s a very cute little animal, mostly nocturnal with a very long hibernation period of 183 days!
We waited until dusk to release it far away from any habitation.
