Big scare on Sunday afternoon when a large swarm of bees took up residence with us.
It was a noisy mob that almost blackened the sky. Fortunately in the evening they calm down for the night.
We hoped they would go away on their own, but after 24 hours, seeing the beginnings of nest building against the window, we started asking for help.
On Tuesday evening, a beekeeper came to recover this very large and teeming heap of life, which he estimated at between 20 and 30 thousand pieces. All's well that ends well: he was happy, and we were relieved.
